Milan, Nov. 18, 2021. On the occasion of November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women<\/strong>, Locauto launched the “SOLEMAI” initiative to raise awareness of gender equality and against the phenomenon of violence against women among the general public. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

The project was born from the union of two simple words: SUN <\/strong>and NEVER<\/strong> AGAIN. From this simple idea of Martina Lorusso, aka Momusso<\/strong>, a pop illustrator who gives voice to feelings and emotions through her works, a work comes to life that holds a strong and still necessary message: never again alone in the battle against violence against women.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div>

A simple and effective image, which Locauto wanted to decline not only through the social campaign that accompanies the entire project, but by creating a special limited edition t-shirt, made in collaboration with a major Italian fashion brand, Twinset. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

The t-shirt will be available from November 18 on the twinset.com website, and the proceeds from the sale of this limited edition will go entirely to the Call4Margherita campaign, to support the projects of the women’s rights program, promoted by ActionAid Italy. <\/p>\n<\/div>

“Locauto has always been active in CSR activities,” comments Raffaella Tavazza, Vice-President and CEO of Locauto<\/strong>, “from the very first moment I believed in this advocacy operation for ActionAid Italy and, thanks to the contribution and willingness shown by Twinset, we were able to concretize our commitment to the elimination of a phenomenon that, unfortunately, does not stop being a public emergency. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Raffaella continues, “A special thanks to the artist Momusso, who was able to represent well through a graphic sign and a word what we believe should already be, the world today.”<\/p>\n<\/div>

“Violence against women is a global problem that unfortunately has no borders,” explains Katia Scannavini, ActionAid Italy Deputy Secretary General<\/strong>, “1 in 3 women in Italy and around the world suffers physical or psychological violence: a phenomenon that touches women in every country, culture, economic and social condition but is not effectively addressed by national policies. ActionAid stands by women with projects to protect their rights and we are happy that Locauto mobilizes to give us its support, a valuable help to fight gender violence together.” <\/p>\n<\/div>

“When our friends at Locauto proposed us to take part in this beautiful initiative, we did not hesitate an instant,” says Alessandro Varisco CEO Twinset<\/strong>, “and we immediately made ourselves available to create a limited-edition product that could help, concretely, ActionAid Italia in its daily battle on this very sensitive issue. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Locauto’s communication campaign will continue with several initiatives throughout November.
