edition): on the road to safe driving <\/h2>\n                                        <h3> 4 road safety education talks with Locauto <\/h3>\n                                        <div class=\"black formatted-field\"> <p>We renew our commitment to promoting safe, aware and sustainable mobility throughout Italy with the second edition of &#8220;Locauto On tour.&#8221; After the success of the first tour, the journey continues to meet students, institutions and citizens in the cities where we are present with a number of rental offices, with the aim of spreading a culture of road safety and raising awareness in particular among the younger generations about the risks related to improper driving behavior. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n                                <\/div>\n                    <div id=\"info-title-block_1432ef46c2bc04497ae81b7e9666feea\"> Yougov Search for Locauto <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"formatted-field\">\n                <p>As part of the Locauto on tour project, a second survey was conducted in collaboration with YouGov on a national sample of 1,000 adult respondents (+18) which showed that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>71% of Italian drivers say they need to brush up on some road rules<\/li>\n<li>14% of drivers take drugs before driving<\/li>\n<li>32% of drivers take alcoholic beverages before driving<\/li>\n<li>46% of drivers admit to using their cell phones even while the vehicle is in motion<\/li>\n<li>15% of drivers do not routinely use seat belts<\/li>\n<li>59% of drivers would not contact authorities in the event of a traffic accident even if necessary<\/li>\n<li>23% of drivers have no idea about the penalties in the New Highway Code in reference to alcohol and drugs<\/li>\n<li>23% get distracted when driving<\/li>\n<li>35% of drivers do not know the limits that new drivers must adhere to (engine capacity, limits, blood alcohol content)<\/li>\n<li>46% of drivers have not assisted or would not assist those involved in a traffic accident if they witnessed it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/article><div class=\"wp-block-wrapper wp-block-core-columns-wrapper\">\n<div results of the research confirm how crucial it is to invest in <strong>road safety education<\/strong>, particularly among <strong>young people and new drivers<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThrough projects such as Locauto On tour, we are committed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote <strong>safe and responsible driving<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Involve <strong>local institutions, experts and law enforcement<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Spread a <strong>deep knowledge of the Highway Code;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Raise awareness of <strong>sustainability <\/strong>and <strong>social responsibility<\/strong> issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With initiatives like <strong>Locauto Young<\/strong>, we want to continue to be a reference point for younger people, offering not only tailored mobility services, but also <strong>training and support<\/strong> for a new generation of conscious drivers.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/article><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<article class=\"custom-block block-info-card\" \">\n                                <h3 class=\"card-title\" id=\"info-title-block_11c920448e645740b92d16e9624747ab\"> Locauto On tour appointments <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"formatted-field\">\n                <p>During the meetings, experts in the field, representatives of institutions and law enforcement will talk with students about the<strong> risks of alcohol and drug abuse<\/strong> and <strong>driving distractions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to encourage direct and constructive discussion, promoting <strong>awareness and responsibility behind the wheel.<\/strong> This year the project is enriched by the collaboration with <strong>Skuola.net and A.I.V.I.S.<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Associazione Italiana Vittime e Infortuni della Strada (Italian Association of Road Victims and Injuries<\/strong>), which will bring direct testimonies to make the reflection on the importance of prevention even more concrete. <\/p>\n<p>In its first edition, Locauto On tour stopped in 2024 in Lecce, Parma, Frosinone and Ancona, with free meetings aimed at students and citizens.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n
