Amalfi is a must-see destination for those who love traveling along scenic roads<\/strong>, although it\u2019s not for the faint of heart: its breathtaking curves and narrow hairpin turns require a certain level of driving attention, and not everyone especially those who suffer from vertigo <\/strong>feels comfortable driving along these cliffside roads.

For those willing to take on the challenge, the most convenient cities to start from<\/strong> are Naples and Salerno. From Naples, you can take the A3 highway to Castellammare di Stabia, then continue along the SS145 through the charming towns of the Sorrento Peninsula<\/strong>, or opt for the spectacular SS163 Amalfitana, known for its sea views and for being one of the most picturesque roads in Italy.

From Salerno, the SS163 is more direct, with a route of about 30 km winding between rocky cliffs and hidden coves<\/strong>.
