Our Brescia rental office is at 49, Via Della Stazione, outside the railway and underground station. You can pick up your car from Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM or on Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM.
The parking is located in the garage of the station, communicating through the lifts with the building car rentals. The parking lot dedicated to the "Rent a Car" with the Locauto stalls is in room 3. To enter the parking lot, you need to collect a ticket that you can leave by car if the location is closed (as proof of the return time) or deliver to the Locauto staff. For the exit from the garage our staff provides the exit ticket.
To return your rental car to our Brescia office, please park the vehicle inside the dedicated ‘Rent A Car’ area within the station building. Locauto’s appointed room is room number 3. If you return your vehicle during opening hours, you will be given an exit ticket by our staff; if you return the car outside office hours, remember to leave the parking entrance ticket in plain view on the car’s dashboard so that Locauto staff can check the time you dropped the vehicle off.
One of the most underestimated cities in northern Italy, but nonetheless rich in cultural and artistical treasures, Brescia is really worth a visit for more than a reason. The first one lies in the fact itself that it is so underrated: unlike Milan or Verona, it is not ceaselessly rushed by tourists so it is possible to explore it with the utmost tranquillity, blending in with locals. The second reason – and not an unimportant one - is that it is rich in landmarks of established universal value: UNESCO indeed added to its World’s Heritage List the monastery complex including the Basilica of San Salvatore and the church of Santa Giulia; this magnificent complex also encloses a mesmerizing museum which allows visitors to travel through the 3000 years long history of Brescia, from the Bronze Age to Renaissance and later on. Not far from this museum rises the city’s archaeological park, also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage. You can then proceed your city tour by taking a look at Brescia’s beautiful squares, for instance Piazza Della Loggia and Piazza Della Vittoria, and its two cathedrals. You may also wouldn’t want to miss a tour of the magnificent castle which looms over Brescia, allowing you to soak in the most perfect panorama of the city: plus, it can be reached by car and the entry is free. As far as food is concerned, don’t miss out on Brescia traditional dishes and have a try at casoncelli (meat-stuffed dumplings seasoned with butter and often bacon), polenta and stewed pike; it won’t be difficult for you to find good wines as well, as Brescia rises very close to the Franciacorta territory, known for its strong wine production tradition.
Brescia is not far from Verona and Milan (half an hour and an hour’s drive respectively), so it can be a possible midway destination if you are headed to one of these cities. Either you are dropping by for just one day or are staying in town for a longer time, you can choose to rent a car in Brescia so that you can handle all your transfers in the most convenient and expedited way and also afford exploring not just the city, but its surrounding areas as well: the countryside around Brescia is rich in vineyards where you can book a wine tasting tour and there are many lakes, such as Lake Iseo and Lake Garda, where you can spend a couple of days sporting or just chilling out. Near Brescia you can also find a big factory shop (Franciacorta outlet) where you can buy designer clothing from Italian and international brands at reduced prices. Our rental office in Brescia is located right outside the railway and underground station, so you can reach us easily even if you are coming over by train from another Italian city. Our fleet ranges from electric compact cars to estate cars and SUVs, fitting every travelling need regardless of the size of your family or the extent of luggage and shopping bags you are carrying with you.
Our rental office in Brescia can be easily reached both by train, with direct lines from cities all around Lombardy and Veneto regions, and by underground if you are heading here from within the city: once you drop off the train, follow the signs pointing to the Rent-a-Car area to find us. Our car hire office lies within a toll-free area and very close to the west orbital road which eventually flows into the A4 highway (which you will need to get to Milan/Turin and Verona/Venice/Trieste). Our staff is of course at your disposal to give you any additional information you may need to get to your next destination near Brescia: remember that you can choose to pick up and drop off your car in different Locauto outlets in Lombardy and all over Italy, so remember to check which offices suit your travelling plans best prior to booking!
