After the rental

At midnight on the return date, a request to release the deposit will be sent to the issuing bank. From that moment, the time required for the full release will depend solely on the bank's procedures, the country of issuance, and the credit card protocol. In some cases, especially with foreign banks, the process may take several days, up to a maximum of 28. Please note that Locauto has no control over these timeframes, as they are determined directly by the financial institution.

At the end of the rental, you will receive the invoice directly via email. If you are a MyLocauto user, you can also download it by accessing your reserved area in the "My Rentals" section of your profile.

In the event of traffic violations, unpaid tolls, or parking fees, you are responsible for settling the amount directly. If the payment is not made, a penalty will be applied as specified in the General and Special Rental Conditions available on the website. The penalty does not include the fine amount, which must be paid directly to the relevant authority.
