Three new openings for Locauto

Three new openings for Locauto. Just weeks after launching its Locauto Van rental line, the little elephant brand is opening three new offices in Italy’s two main cities, Rome and Milan.

With the new locations in Roma Eur and Roma Tiburtina, Locauto brings the number of rental offices in the capital to 6: the new openings join Roma Via Veneto and Roma Termini and the two historic airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino. Roma Eur is a very important area for B2B, a customer segment on which Locauto has focused heavily, and the new Viale Europa location is right in the heart of an area with a high concentration of companies and services. The opening of the Rome Tiburtina office, just a few meters from the train station and conveniently located for the city’s eastern ring road, also falls within this logic. What’s more, Tiburtina represents a station with high passenger potential, also depending on high-speed rail developments.

The Milan Corvetto location, on the other hand, represents Locauto’s fifth garrison in the Lombard capital, and joins the offices in Stazione Centrale, Sesto San Giovanni and the two airports of Malpensa and Linate. The Milan Corvetto office is strategically located to serve the business area of southeast Milan, including the hinterland, but it also represents an interesting hub for the development of van rental.

Car rental and van rental are the two key services on which Locauto has based its new commercial offer. “These openings, as well as those to come, allow us to increase our capillarity in the main city centers and to be ever closer to our customers,” said Locauto Vice President Raffaella Tavazza. “For almost forty years we have been a leading player in car rental in Italy, but today we want to go further. Our goal is to become a one-stop shop for all mobility and rental needs of companies and individuals. We want to get there by offering a complete portfolio of services: from long-term, medium-term, and short-term car rentals to digital self-service rentals with the Elefast App, the only ones in Italy to offer this service, all the way to the commercial vehicle rental line.”
