An entire life wouldn’t probably suffice to live the incredible sights of Rome to the fullest, but with some planning it is surely possible to take in its main attractions bit by bit. Deservedly known for the treasure trove of historic exemplars its city center is dotted with, in particular the ones dating back to the ancient Roman age, Rome discloses endless cultural possibilities through its rich network of museums, which is one of the greatest boasts of our whole country: the Capitoline Museums, the most ancient ones in Rome, full of Roman antiquities; the Borghese Gallery, gathering, within the namesake villa, sculptures, bas-reliefs, mosaics and other masterpieces dated between the 15th and the 18th centuries; the Trajan Market and much more, including exhibition halls dedicated to contemporary international art.
Among the attractions to see in the south of Rome specifically there are, for instance, the Lateran Cloister, the biggest Roman cloister and an extraordinary example of elegance and simplicity from the Early Middle Ages, and the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran, one of the most spectacular architectures in the Capital, internally decorated with a flourishing of mosaics and statues belonging to a variety of styles coming together in wonderful harmony. In the Appio Antico neighborhood, outside the Great Ring Road, stretches one of the largest green lungs of the city: the Appian Way Regional Park, crossed by a web of walking and cycling routes along which you can enjoy the sight of ancient villas, necropolises, temples, aqueducts and everything that makes up the outstanding, complex historical heritage of Rome.
In order to embrace such a cultural richness it is surely impossible to rely on one’s feet only and we all know, one way or another, either from the news or social network, how unreliable public transport in Rome is. In support to tourists, as well as to workers who need to travel across Rome with a private vehicle with the freedom it allows, we have therefore developed a network of car rental offices in Rome capable of covering the necessities of our clients coming from all the areas of the Capital. Our Rome Appio Tuscolano rental office is now joining this network to make professional and personal transfers to and from the southern and southern-eastern areas of the Capital easier.
Rates can be customized on the base of the length of the rental, down to a minimum of six hours; they always include the possibility of adding a designated drive for free and do not require the down payment of any security deposits. In addition, our range of rental cars in Rome Appio Tuscolano comprises a variety of vehicles that can fit every exigency, starting from electric vehicles, ideal for those who want to drive in restricted areas as well, up to the big sedans and SUVs mainly chosen by those who are mainly focused on luxury and comfort when traveling. Select the dates and offices of your interest in our search engine, check out what the currently available models are and book one now to secure the best deal!
