To reach our rental office at Linate Airport, upon exiting the Arrivals Gate located on the ground floor of the airport building, follow the signs ‘Rent-a-car’ or ‘Autonoleggi’. Linate airport is quite a small one, so you won’t have to walk over a great distance to find us. If you booked your car via Locauto Elefast, you can head directly to our parking to pick up the vehicle.
Parking Locauto is outside, on the fifth floor at the P2 parking, very close to the office, only at two minute walk. You simply follow the airport signposting and, once arrived in the parking, the Locauto signposting.
To return your car at the appointed time and date, enter the airport area and follow the signs pointing to the Arrivals zone, then to ‘Autonoleggi’/’Car Rental’: there you will find our parking, just a few steps away from the terminal.
There are many reasons why visiting Milan, some of which are not so straightforward. People usually associate this city with the glamorous world of haute couture, and of course this is one of the most obvious sides of the multifaceted, everchanging identity of Milan, but it doesn’t come all down to this in the end. Under its feverish, business-oriented attitude, Milan is capable of resonating well with the most different people: its abundance of buildings from the richest range of architectural styles, from the Gothic up to Art Noveau, internationally famous museums and art galleries and of course outstanding traditional cuisine makes it easy to fall in love with it. If you’re planning a city break in Italy, Milan is certainly worth giving a try even over Florence or Venice: it will give you an actual insight into the Italian way of life while also offering you the inspirational variety that you expect as a tourist. Our advice is that you choose to fly with a company landing in Milan Linate Airport, which is very close to Milan city centre and will allow you to cut time on airport transfers.
Especially if you have just a few days to spare, then we advise you to rent a car in Milan Linate Airport. This way, you won’t have to wait for the bus to take you to the city or rely on public transport to explore it as far and wide as you wish to. Businessmen from abroad often call upon us at Locauto for a rental service which will allow them to get the best out of their time before a connecting flight or make a swift return after their business appointments. However, people who rent cars at our Linate airport office are often also tourists who wish to travel safely and quickly with their family. As different as your needs may be, so varied is our rental cars fleet: ranging from electric city cars to big-sized Sport Utility Vehicles, Locauto will provide you exactly with ‘04the car you’re looking for, whether you’re going camping with your kids or meeting an Italian business partner for an aperitivo on the Navigli. With Locauto you’ll also get the chance of managing your booking entirely through your Android/iOs smartphone: download Locauto Elefast now and check out what vehicles are available on your appointed vacation/business time in Italy.
The Linate neighbourhood is situated just a bunch of kilometres east of Milan, along one of the main avenues used by citizens to enter and exit the city and very close to the main highways of northern Italy. An half-an-hour drive may suffice to reach the city centre: assuming this is your very final destination, please consider renting an electric car because by doing so you will be able to enter the ancient town centre’s restricted area (the ‘Area C’) at no additional cost. Otherwise, you will need to pay for a daily, weekly or monthly pass matching your rental car’s plate: such passes are not very costly indeed and can be bought online - we will be glad to inform you as to how buying them once you meet us at our desks at Milan Linate Airport.
