Renting a car always involves some form of risk. Even for the most experienced and prudent drivers, the choice is always between spending something more and feeling protected or betting on savings but not feeling safe from nasty surprises. This is why Locauto has designed two protection packages, one inclusive and one super-inclusive.
Smart Cover
It is a light protection, dedicated to customers looking for a peaceful rental at the right price: the Smart Cover package eliminates the customer’s responsibility for damage to the bodywork, glass, windows, tires and wheels. It also eliminates the excess for total or partial theft or damage from attempted theft. Only damage to the interior, mechanics and underbody of the car remains uncovered, therefore subject to excess. The Smart Cover package thus represents the right compromise for those seeking safety and savings. Don’t Worry
It is a true “worry-free” formula, born from the requests of the most demanding customers, who are looking for a total coverage solutions and feeling protected from surprises. The Don’t Worry package eliminates customer liability for damage to all parts of the vehicle, for partial total theft and for attempted theft damage. It also includes the extended roadside assistance service “Roadside Plus” and Protection Against Injuries. Terms and conditions
The application and effectiveness of Smart Cover and Don’t Worry packages is regulated by the General Rental Conditions. The two packages may be subject to exceptions and limitations, with particular reference to thefts that have occurred in certain areas of Italy (art. 9) or to the circumstances indicated by art. 10.
