SAFE DRIVING: Alterations at the wheel, causes and effects

Lecce was the first city to host the first stop of LOCAUTO ON TOUR in October. During the event, the risks associated with alcohol abuse and drug use while driving were discussed and the new Highway Code, with its updated regulations, was discussed in depth. For the occasion, experts and representatives of local institutions were present to discuss the topic and its specifics and implications to an audience of citizens and students. Students, particularly from the fourth and fifth classes of Lecce high schools, had the opportunity to inform themselves and discuss the possible consequences of incorrect and risky driving actions that can affect the safety of themselves and others. By raising awareness of the importance of the topic, we are committed to promoting safer mobility for all.
