Here in Locauto we started an ecological transition process to reduce CO2 emissions day by day through conscious choices which may improve the experience of our customers and employees.
In all our head offices in Milan, Rome and Cardano al Campo, we installed purified water dispensers removing all plastic bottles from vending machines and providing our emplyees with thermos bottles.
Also for warm drinks, we replaced plastic cups with paper cups and plastic sticks with wooden ones.
In this way we expect to save 50.000 bottles, cups and sticks every year.
Saved plastic 1,6 TONNES.
Saved CO2 9,6 TONNES.
We aim to keep an always young fleet, efficient and equipped with low e missions technologies. All cars in our fleet are EURO 6 approved, perfect even for limited traffic areas.
In the next few months one out of four cars will have hybrid/electric engine so we'll be able to further reduce CO2 emissions.

In 2020 we launched our Smart Check-In service so customers can skip the queue at the rental desk and go directly to the parking for the digital signature on tablets.
We have also made all our traditional rental operations totally digital saving more than 350.000 printed papers every year.
