Locauto and its customers together with Opera San Francesco to celebrate 60th anniversary
Locauto has always been at the side of Opera San Francesco per i Poveri, which, in Milan, has been engaged since 1959 in providing free assistance and shelter to people in dire straits.
As part of the initiatives planned throughout 2019 to celebrate OSF’s 60th anniversary, a delegation of Locauto management attended the special performance of Georg Friedrich Händel’s Semele, a secular oratorio in three acts, together with the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestras and the English Baroque Soloists that took place on Monday, May 6, at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
“A special evening to support a reality that acts daily in a concrete way alongside those most in need. The strong bond between Locauto and Opera San Francesco per i Poveri,” said Mario Tavazza, President of Locauto, “is renewed year after year with support for projects of social inclusion, to allow everyone a vision of hope and confidence toward the future.
“We chose to participate in person by bringing a representation of Locauto customers, giving them the opportunity to attend the concert and learn firsthand about the work of Opera San Francesco in the area.”
Locauto’s commitment to Opera San Francesco is part of the #locautocares program, which aims to promote actions and projects directed toward enhancing social responsibility, a core value of Locauto’s corporate culture and daily approach to all stakeholders.
