Locauto resumes its lines of development and opens a new rental office in La Spezia

Milan, July 8, 2020. The growth of Locauto, the 100% Italian mobility company, continues on the Ligurian territory, and after the opening of offices in Genoa Airport, Genoa City and Imperia, it inaugurates on Wednesday, July 8, a new car and van rental office in La Spezia, located in the city artery that connects the port to the historic city center (Viale Italia 434).

“The inauguration of the new La Spezia office,” emphasizes Mario Tavazza, Locauto’s president, “is a source of pride for us because it ideally represents the image of revitalization and a gradual return to normalcy even in a market like the rent-a-car market that is among the hardest hit by the pandemic.

The new rental office will be a space ready to accommodate the mobility requests of individuals and businesses in the area, with flexible and customized rental services for all short-, medium- and long-term travel and transportation needs of cars and commercial vehicles, but it will also be an opportunity to support the tourism sector in this delicate period of restart.

“The lockdown period in our country forced us to suspend the growth process of our network in the territory,” adds Raffaella Tavazza, Vice President, “which had already seen the openings of Varese and Mantua since the beginning of the year. This new opening in La Spezia is the fulfillment of the first in a long series of ongoing negotiations that, as early as this month, will allow Locauto to open other new rental offices throughout Italy.
