Verra Mobility and Locauto bring electronic toll payment to Italy for vehicle renters

TRENTO, Jan. 28, 2026 — Verra Mobility Corporation(NASDAQ: VRRM), a provider of smart mobility technology solutions, and Locauto, a leading car and commercial vehicle rental company with more than 110 offices throughout Italy, today announced a partnership to introduce an electronic toll payment solution aimed at customers in Italy.
The program allows drivers to join the service at the time of rental, at all Locauto locations, enabling automatic payment of tolls electronically. In this way, customers can continue their journey avoiding queues at toll booths and without the need to use cash.In addition to the Locauto brand, the Group also operates the Enterprise, National and Alamo brands through an exclusive partnership agreement with Enterprise Mobility.

Italy operates one of the most extensive toll road networks in Europe, with more than 7,000 kilometers[1] and 35 toll highways supporting travel throughout the country. With the car rental market growing at about 5 percent annually,[2] driven by more than 70 million international visitors,[3] there is increasing demand for solutions that simplify the driving experience and payments along the way.
